INSTRUCTORS

 

 

PYONG-HWA School of Taekwon-Do is a family run school based in Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa on the Tramore Road in Cork. Formerly the Togher School of Taekwon-Do the school was established in 1979 by Mr. Jim O'Sullivan. In 1997 the school was taken over by the Connolly family and has continued to go from strength to strength.

Our classes are taught by Chief Instructor Master Con Connolly 7th Degree Black Belt and Ms. Janice Connolly 6th Degree Black Belt. Between them they have over 40 years of teaching experience.

Master. Con Connolly

7th Degree, Chief Instructor and Examiner

Mr. Connolly commenced his Taekwon-Do training in 1988. He graded for 1st Degree under Grand Master Hee Il Cho in 1993. Most recently graded for 7th Degree Black Belt 2017.  Mr. Connolly is a Qualified Fitness Instructor ITEC and has a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. He has 23 Years of Teaching Experience.

 

Ms, Janice Connolly B.Sc. B.A. ITEC

6th Degree, School Instructor and Examiner

Ms. Connolly commenced her Taekwon-Do training in 1993. She graded for 1st Degree in 1996 under Grand Master Park Jung Tae.  Most recently graded for 6th Degree Black Belt in Russia in 2016.  Ms. Connolly is a Qualified Fitness Instructor ITEC and has a BA Degree in Strength and Conditioning. She has 20 years teaching experience.
